Hi there surfer - Welcome to my web site.
My name is Kevin, as you may have guessed from the title of the page!
I live in the town of Saltash, which is in the county of Cornwall, in southwest England. I work in the control room of the fire service located between Cornwall and Somerset (as an employee, I am not allowed to mention anything about the county's fire & rescue service on my personal web site), receiving emergency calls from members of the public, and despatching fire crews to incidents. My hobbies include Amateur Radio, preserving old Fire Appliances, collecting photographs of Fire Appliances & Fire Stations, Computing, Word Games of all sorts - Anagrams, Crosswords etc., and listening to all kinds of music - from Beethoven to The Beatles, as well as the fantastically witty and clever Radio 4 programme, I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. I upload a lot of photographs to http://www.geograph.org.uk, a project to collect at least one geographically representative image from every 1km square of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
